The Association of Shopping Centres (Singapore), or TASC for short, was incorporated in mid-1993 with the objective of advancing the development of the shopping centre industry so that Singapore would be able to maintain its competitive edge as a premium shopping destination.
TASC is represented by the nation's key developers, asset owners, and managing agents. Its members together own and manage a substantial portion of retail land and assets in Singapore and contribute significantly to the country's economy.
With close co-operation amongst members and active participation in activities such as overseas study trips, education and networking events, as well as tourism programmes, it is hoped that TASC can create vibrancy within the local retail scene successfully.
